These aren’t necessarily the top 10 horror films of all time, but they will get you into the Halloween spirit.

Since Halloween is smack in the middle of Canadian and American Thanksgiving, this just makes the list. Not a film for everyone, this is a batshit insane story about a killer turkey.

Another insane addition to the list… I decided to add this one instead of the original Halloween because that seemed too safe. This movie has killer robots, killer masks and a hero with a killer drinking problem. The only movie in the Halloween series not to include Michael Myers, the picture below doesn’t apply but it’s one of the funniest memes of all time.

A great anthology film by the guy who brought us Krampus last year. This is one of my favourite Halloween films and really sets the mood.

I absolutely love the Halloween episodes of The Simpsons. I haven’t seen them all but the one that always stuck with me was the one with killer Krusty dolls running around.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. This is one of my favourite scary movies, period. Great cast, great plot, great dialogue and great scares. Another fun thing to do would be to play a drinking game where you have to drink every time someone says “cellular telephone”
