2013 / 111 Minutes / Paramount Pictures

I don’t know who should be blamed for this mess. This is a terrible story that’s completely ridiculous. I can’t believe this was a book! Someone wrote this??? Kate Winslet is wasted with this poor material. Josh Brolin’s character is so absurd and laughable.

This falls into the same category as all the Nicholas Sparks movies out there, it’s no better. Jason Reitman who made Juno and one of my all time favourite movies Up In The Air is responsible for this and it’s so disappointing. I really expected something totally different and better than this. It’s a shame that everyone involved with this didn’t see that there was nothing making this story good. This script should have been shredded. I won’t comment on the book since I have not read it, but I can’t see how it could be an improvement. This movie really made me angry, one of those ones that really upset you that you can’t get your 2 hours back. Bad!
