Obviously my review is a little biased since I’m such a huge Muppet fan, but this was a lot of fun! It’s a little different than the last movie, there’s much more action and chaos whereas the last film was more sentimental and had more heart, while paying homage to the Muppets and their past. This one is more comparable to The Great Muppet Caper which I believe was intentional. This anticipated sequel had a lot to live up to after the last film. The last film revived the Muppets and brought them back into the light and reminded us why we need them and how influential they were and still are.

Muppets Most Wanted, although isn’t as fantastic and brilliant as its predecessor, is still full of the Muppet humour and entertainment that many have come to love. The music, like the last one, was enjoyable and hilarious and also deserving of some Oscar recognition. There were also a ton of great surprise cameos throughout.

Can I say anything bad about the movie? Not really, but the story isn’t quite as strong as I had hoped, but the jokes and the entire cast make up for it. It’s a wonderful addition to the Muppets growing film library and fits in nicely with the rest as a repeat viewing pleasure. The Muppets and their movies make me happy and that’s all you can ask for from Jim Henson’s legacy.
